About Us

Living the Life Women’s Conference came about as a result of God’s divine direction. Rochelle Roots was seeking God’s direction and vision in wanting to provide a women’s conference in Corpus Christi that would minister to women from all walks of life. After seeking God through prayer, she felt the Lord gave her the title, theme, base scripture, and mission statement for the conference, which are:

Living the Life Women’s Conference - “Reaching Higher”

John 10:10 “The thief comes to kill, steal and destroy, but I have come that they may have life and have it to the full.”

Mission Statement: To encourage, equip and empower women from all over South Texas and all walks of life to live the life Christ came to give according to John 10:10....life to the fullest!

God then added women with the same heart, vision and passion such as Alene Snodgrass and Laura Harris. As the ladies met and prayed about the conference, excitement began to grow and God has since continued to put together the 2008 conference team including Tonya Webber, Kristen Reyna, Lakendra Lewis and the James Roots Band.

The Living the Life team is made up of women from several different churches, but with one common purpose... to see women experience greater truth and grow deeper in their relationship with God!
